The use of alternative pedagogical approaches has been proven effective at nurturing all individuals’ fine motor skills, social skills, problem solving skills, and more. Thus, Learnclusive was founded to ensure that people are able to access these important developmental goals alongside quality education. Methodologies Adopted

Funclusive Workshops

Weekly sessions utilizing the Funclusive Activity Book were held at the Prajna Foundation. Each of these workshops had about 60 children in attendance, and they engaged in various writing, communicating, singing, dance, cooperation and inclusion activities. Through these workshops, the kids gained knowledge about a variety of educational concepts and abilities as well as good manners and ethics like timeliness, politeness, and inclusivity. Activities through dance and drama were conducted to engage the children with visuo - spatial tools to develop critical thinking skills.

Resource Donation and Awareness Campaigns in Varanasi

In January 2022, in an effort to expand the reach of Learnclusive’s unique learning and teaching resources, the Learnclusive Teaching Program and the Learnclusive Activity book which are aimed at increasing awareness of alternative learning methods, these resources were distributed among the teachers and students of Hari Vidya Mandir, Shikshan Sansthan and Central Public School and R.S. Public School, schools located in Chanditara village (District Chandauli) near the city of Varanasi. In addition to this, the Learnclusive Posters on the Neurodivergence and Learning Issues were also displayed in the school campus as a way of increasing awareness and removing the stigma around these topics. These Resources were also distributed and implemented at Shree Khemka International School , Buhana.

Research

Manya engaged with the development and implementation of curriculums in highschool to develop an in-depth understanding of learning and teaching practices. These efforts ultimately resulted in a research project that was published in Questioz, an international online journal dedicated to high school research. The project studied, observed, and analyzed patterns of attention and memory retention in toddlers. It considered the disturbances in their learning environment, primarily during the pandemic, to understand how alternative pedagogical strategies could assist and improve learning. A unique model of testing was developed in the form of an original Tangram to understand and compute the attention span, memory, and emotional responses to the designed activities. The model was successfully able to examine important skills like visual-spatial awareness, creativity, cognitive thinking, problem-solving abilities and more in toddlers, and developed ways to boost these skills. LearnClusive Teaching Program

This teaching manual is designed to provide educators, learning experts, and student volunteers insight into alternate learning strategies that enhance overall development of their students. Aimed at assisting teachers build skills among students such as hand-eye coordination, social skills, and problem solving, the teaching program hopes to be an effective and helpful way for teachers to delve into teaching strategies.

FunClusive Activity Book

The Funclusive Activity Book is a book filled with games, exercises, and activities which students can go through to build their developmental skills like reasoning, motor skills, and memory retention. Designed to be colorful and engaging, the activity book consists of 25 unique activities and lessons that help students learn in a fun-filled manner.

Poster Campaign

In July 2022, I created a series of posters aimed at increasing awareness around mental health issues faced by young adults and ways to cope with them. These posters were put in classroom of primary and secondary schools to make them aware of new age challenges and to give then the strength to cope with them.

Digiclusive

In July 2022, I started developing digital content which was focused on inclusive learning for younger children. These videos are aimed at helping kids develop skills such as communicating, critical thinking, and memory. Through a series of videos, I continue to address topics like language and vocabulary, early mathematical concepts, problem solving, and auditory perception.
